oh, balls. i probably should have specified in my top comment. she'll be from immediately following the agent carter s1 finale. that said, i am more than willing (and perhaps a little eager) for her to be super cagey with steve about his future -- or so far as she knows it.

I'm realizing Steve has only known her for about six to eight months, at least three of which were spent on the USO circuit.

...i'd say she's gonna seem like she's crazy over-invested in him but this is peggy we're talking but so once she realizes he's out of step with her, she's gonna play it cool and pretend like it doesn't even hurt.

and then she'll try to resist being an overbearing guardian because she just wants to keep him safe.
