chiming in to say i LOVE the radio idea. i thought about that — something really basic, either morse code or speech only. not walkie talkies, i think, or if they're portable it's rare? i was thinking a lot about this last night, actually, because of natasha's weird impromptu "i can build radioshack in a cave with james spader" scene in canon.

one of the many draws to jumpscares for me was the lack of a network, but with how big it's gotten i think something basic (just to facilitate touching base but not enough to draw away from the isolation of the setting) would be neat! or ic inboxes. those, traditionally, are also pretty great.
